Torbay Climate Action exists as a voluntary community group to promote and further develop holistic approaches to real issues that affect our society. We work from and with the community to drive engagement, skills-sharing and future planning to bring about positive change. We believe in a healthy planet for healthy citizens and strive to bring about environmental and social justice within the Torbay area. Environmental issues are human issues; ready, set, action!
Tackling climate change is a huge task, so we have devised a number of working groups which focus on specific actions.
These working groups are open to everybody and anybody is welcome to create their own group to tackle an area related to climate change which appeals or which is important to you.
Torbay Climate Action will provide guidance and support to these groups.

Following COV-19 government guidelines we have had to cancel our weekly drop-ins at Paignton Library to ensure the safety of our members, the public and the Library staff.
Our members are still very active helping the community and coming up with new ways to mitigate and adapt to the effects of Climate Change which COVID-19 has made it more pressing than ever.
